Lets talk woman to woman....

Let’s talk woman to woman. If you’re over 45 you’ve probably started noticing changes in how your body responds to sex. Some women experience dryness or discomfort. Some women find sex less pleasurable or even painful and find their desire for it waning as a consequence. This is a twofold issue. First, is the physical side because let’s face it, sex feels good and if things go south in that department, then the second thing that gets triggered is the whole emotional-psychological component of sex. Because expressing love means physical love too. Take something away and something is lost, no?

Ok, you’re over 45. Dating maybe? Stable relationship maybe? You’re hoping that the symptoms of menopause will just go away but they persist and so you need to ask what’s next? Not treating the symptoms and the problems just get worse. The older known treatments such as hormones and creams over time can work but they’re not for everyone. You might think sex will never be what it once was.

Now, let me tell you a story. About six months ago the FDA approved a laser procedure that treats women suffering from declining sexual function or sexual pleasure. It’s name is the Mona Lisa Touch and thousands of patients have benefited greatly from it. The way it works is that it rejuvenates vaginal tissue reversing the symptoms that make sex difficult or un-pleasurable. It’s a fast, painless, three time office procedure with no anesthesia or down time. Results are felt in as little as two weeks with continued improvement for six months.

Part two of the story are the testimonials, clinical studies and first-hand accounts of women who have been helped by the Mona Lisa Touch. Here are some links and articles to help you learn more about a serious problem that has been historically under-treated or worse, untreated.

End of story is this. “Great sex after menopause?” a patient recently asked me, a dubious tone to her voice. “Yes!” I replied “Come on in, let’s have a talk”.
